9km out of the city center. Be careful of taxi drivers from the bus station. Should only cost about €4 to get there. Nice spot, weren't there long enough to get a good feel, we had full in wind and used it as a stop.

The Hostel Izvor is ideally located for those that want to be a short distance away from the city Podgorica, but are able to enjoy the peaceful nature that this establishment has to offer. A short taxi drive to the city centre bus station means you are able to get out and about very cheaply and freely. I was greeted by Nic, the proprietor, and my arrival was dealt with efficiently and in a very relaxed manner. My Montenegran was non existent, though Nic speaks good English and was pleased to help out in any way he could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. His staff are all incredibly polite and helpful, proving to be a credit to him and themselves. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for good, clean, inexpensive accommodation and look forward to returning again in the near future.

Staff keen and efficient. Nice bar
Rather basic and a bit run-down. Very much for the budget traveller, but then it's more thn you'd expect to pay for a hostel, and you have the additional costs of a 5 Euro taxi every time you go into Podgorica.

The only good feature of this hostel is the location.
Room was dirty and without TV, bath was smelly and with no shower head or courtain. Continental breakfast included consisted of 2 sausages (highly synthetic and unhealthy looking), 1 egg and 1 cup of tea(Tea cups were dirty and broken).

Good location, affordable price, very helpfull and competent staff.
Faulty or too weak air conditioning (Unit working with no effect). At the temperatures up to 40oC during the day and around 30oC at night air conditioning is essential for the comfort for the people from the northern part of europe.

The staff's warm welcome and helpful manners.
Out of the city center (taxi drivers cheat) (Taxi costs mostly 3€ or 4 € from the bus station to the hostel).

Very nice family owned and managed hostel perfect for younger travellers. From the first encounter to the end of the stay the staff is very welcoming and helpful and willing to answer any questions and to reccomed exellent restaurants-Bascarsija in particular :). The room was spacious and clean, had everything one might need during the stay. Breakfast provided is one more plus of this hostel. We would definitely stay here again if life takes us back to Podgorica.

Long way from City Centre. Need to agree rates with taxi drivers at the time of ytavel as they tend not to want to use the meter.

It was convenient to be able to get an evening meal at the restaurant. A hot breakfast was provided although this varied for different clients.

The door handle of our room was broken, so it fell off for a few times. We had to chase after the reception guy several times, since he was away. The room was somewhat worn out, but fine in general.
